Soothseer
First Prologue

This is a story i have been wanting to start for a very long time now, even before i met deviantart.

The story is about the mechanical successors of the Human civilization we know and their experiences throughout the milky way. As they find more and more evidence of an (now gone) Alien precursor  civilization  their goal becomes to find out the true history of how mankind came to be and what are the reasons of their actions and artifacts.

The main character of this story would be a very advanced android named Bellatrix by her human developers, her job was to peacefully manage the the people and the infrastructure of the country the was made responsible of. As time went on the Human race began to develop and so the technology powering Bellatrix continued to develop.

A massive religious war erupted in protest from a campaign of Earths corporate leaders to expand into another solar system. This was a violation of a world wide treaty made to keep the peace amongst the Republics (mostly zealous) and Oligarchies (Corporate controlled countries) the zealous countries saw this as the beginning of the end of life in the Milky Way Galaxy by the hand of the human race. The war was fought with weaponized viruses and robotic warriors. In the end only Bellatrix, and those wealthy enough to afford android avatars survived. Some may have escaped earth and entered other planets in the solar system but they either died of starvation, are trapped in carbon freeze coffins in ships drifting in space, or living extremely hermetic lives living off of what they can farm on the slightly habitable planet they landed on. These people who are generally unknown are unable to make contact with each-other under fear of catching a virus.

Bellatrix outlives mankind (pretty much. Those hermits ain’t goin nowhere unless they want to die, that virus is crazy potent) although they exist as a shadow of their former selves through android avatars. Under rules given to Bellatrix (not something programmed into her) she assumed the role of leader of her country and used the remainder of the zealous robotic army to secure the rest of earth under a strict authoritarian-like rule in where she supervises everything that is produced and done (She allows the "people" certain freedoms, only preventing them from doing anything malicious (Like the now robotic corporate authorities who still exist even through all the death and destruction that surrounded them). Bellatrix's next efforts are to expand into the rest of the milky way, to make sure other planets and civilizations receive the protection they need and secretly to expand Belletrix's knowledge of the known universe.
the Title is supposed to say SoothSeer: First Prologue >:|

anyway, the "SoothSeer" is Bellatrix if you did not find that out yet
i thought it was a clever title since she is the one finding out the almost divine mysteries of the known universe.

I am a very big fan of developing technologies and whenever i talk about them fictionally i only apply what i think is very possible to do with the technology the human race is developing today.

having mechanized armies is just in the horizon as robotic exoskeletons that multiply human strength and endurance already exists

Even humanoid or animal like robots designed to be applied to modern warfare are being developed today

The Weaponized virus thing is further into the future as we are almost able to re engineer viruses to spread other genes besides their own malicious genes. My idea of it being weaponized was that it an incurable virus was developed to kill human beings and it was combined with nano-machines that helped it survive and spread in any environment which is why it was soo effective in the story prologue.

(when watching the videos about gene therapy keep in mind that anything can be weaponized)
